1. Holston’s Kitchen
Locally owned and operated Holston’s Kitchen on the Dolly Parton Parkway in Sevierville is a favorite among both locals and guests visiting the area. You can expect to find a menu that offers a wide range of dishes that are sure to please each member of your family. Sandwiches, steaks & seafood, salads, soups, fajitas, burgers, and a long list of main entrees provide an endless selection of culinary experiences. Holston’s is praised time after time for their friendly staff, quick service, good prices, and relaxed atmosphere. If you’re traveling with children they’ll be content thanks to all of the top favorite foods among kids being available. Burgers, spaghetti, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, as well as Shirley Temples are just some of the items listed on the kids menu. Holston’s offers an excellent Gluten-Free menu, something that can be a bit difficult to find in the Smokies. Tip: To ensure that you have the best experience possible and are seated shortly after your arrival, view their WaitList online for the current wait time and to place your name on the list before you leave the hotel.
2. Five Oaks Farm Kitchen
Five Oaks Farm Kitchen has a special place in our hearts here at The Lodge at Five Oaks. The restaurant is located next door to our hotel in Sevierville and can easily be accessed by walking during a stay with us. Five Oaks Farm Kitchen, and our hotel, were built to pay tribute to our owners’ grandparents, Dr. John W. and Blanche Ogle. The Ogles purchased the property where both locations sit today in the early 1920’s and established not only a home for their family but also a legacy that is present today. The 17,000 square-foot barn themed building is not only beautiful but it’s filled with family photos and an ambiance that makes you feel as if you’re having dinner at home with your grandmother or Dr. John W. and Blanche Ogle. The menu was also inspired by Granny Blanche’s cooking and the down home southern foods that have been a part of the Smokies since the first settlers moved into town. Five Oaks Farm Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and supper daily. Tennessee’s best cinnamon rolls, griddle cakes, breakfast sampler platters, chicken casserole, corned beef casserole, kettle soups, smoke house favorites, farm table classics, and many other items are whipped up in the kitchen daily. During your stay with us take time to have one meal, or even three with them. Afterwards head up the hill to browse Ogle Brothers General Store and take in the view of the mountains as you enjoy a treat from Cruze Farm Ice Cream.
3. Joe’s Crab Shack
You may be heading to the mountains but you can still get your seafood fix while you’re staying at our Sevierville, TN hotel. Joe’s Crab Shack is less than one mile from our property and is a wonderful place to have lunch or dinner with your family. They have a laid back ambiance and receive excellent reviews on their staff being accommodating and attentive. Enjoy a bucket of seafood, salad or soup, shack snacks, surf and sandwiches, or non-seafood dishes such as pasta alfredo, chicken tenders, a sirloin, and more. They can have an extended wait on the weekends and during times when visitation in the area is up, but you can call ahead to help with the seating process.
