1. Chevys in the Smokies Showdown and Corvette Expo
The Chevys in the Smokies Showdown kicks off the spring car show season on March 13-15, celebrating Camaros, Chevelles, C10s, and all types of Chevrolet vehicles! The action takes place at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge and features a swap meet, sales corral, park ‘n show, awards show, and much more! This event is held in conjunction with the Spring Corvette Expo, which includes a corvette cruise on the famous Tail of the Dragon!
2. Ponies in the Smokies
Another one of the exciting car shows in Pigeon Forge that you need to see this spring is Ponies in the Smokies, which takes place from March 24-29. This popular annual event starts with various activities throughout the Smokies, including “fun run” cruises and drag racing! The car show portion, which is held just north of Pigeon Forge at the Sevierville Convention Center, celebrates the Ford Mustang with a weekend full of indoor vendors, special displays, and competitions!
3. Pigeon Forge Rod Run
The area’s largest automobile gathering is the Pigeon Forge Rod Run, a car show so big it actually takes place twice a year! The spring edition runs from April 10-12 and features a massive swap meet with hundreds of show cars, a car corral, top 25 awards, ultimate 5 awards, a cash giveaway of $8,000, and much more! The family-friendly event takes place at the LeConte Center and offers free spectator parking at the show. If you’re not attending the show, rest assured that you’ll see muscle cars cruising along the Parkway all weekend long!
4. Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge
Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge rounds out the spring car show season with the most gorgeous Pontiacs around, including classic GTOs, Firebirds, and Fieros! The event is held from June 5-7 at the LeConte Center, with highlights including award presentations and a Saturday night cruise. All proceeds from the show go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, so this is a fantastic opportunity to see some amazing Pontiacs while supporting a great cause!
