This new attraction features a covered wagon hayride where you’ll get to enjoy an up close and personal look into the life of the ranch’s animals! Here are the top 4 things to know about the new Safari Hayride attraction at SkyLand Ranch:
1. What to Expect
The Safari Hayride attraction at SkyLand Ranch is a unique covered wagon experience that allows you to feed, pet and capture photos of all the beautiful animals at the ranch! During your ride, you’ll be in close proximity to a variety of amazing creatures including llamas, donkeys, alpacas, longhorns, highland cows, sheep, goats, fallow and sika deer, and more! Each of the tractors provide seating for up to 30 guests, so bring the whole gang along for this amazing family adventure in the Smokies!
2. Reservation and Ticket Information
Since seating is limited on the Safari Hayride, reservations are currently required to book your spot! Once you have made your booking, remember to arrive 45 minutes before your reserved safari time to allow time for check in and time to walk through Lil Wrangler’s Petting Corral. Your Safari Hayride tickets can only be added on to a general admission ticket to SkyLand Ranch and it includes Lil Wrangler’s Petting Corral. You also have the option to add on the Wild Stallion Mountain Coaster to your ticket purchase for a discounted rate.
3. Ride Restrictions
Keep in mind that there are a few ride restrictions in place for the Safari Hayride for your comfort and safety. Due to the nature of the attraction, no strollers or wheelchairs are permitted on the wagon and guests must be able to transfer to the wagons without assistance. Also note that children under 13 must have an adult accompany them on the safari. Kids who are 2 years and younger are admitted to the Safari Hayride for free, but they are required to sit on an adult’s lap during the ride.
